So a few of you have asked for extensions, and I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get back to you right away with answers! I’ve been busy this week and I wasn’t able to check the community email as often as I usually do. In any case, all extension requests have been granted. For those of you who haven’t asked - submissions are due tomorrow by 11:59!
If you don’t receive one in the next day or so, please let me know so I can get you caught up on the details!
Remember - submission is March 15th!
This check in is mandatory for all participating authors. Be sure to drop by! Remember, final drafts are due March 15th!
Some of you have already turned them in - that’s great! Now everyone else, get on that! Remember, if your rough draft hasn’t been turned in by midnight tonight and you haven’t already talked to us about getting an extension, you will be automatically dropped from this challenge. So please, please send them in on time!
Rough Drafts are due by 11:59 CT tomorrow, January 31st. Unless you’ve already spoken to us about an extension, remember that not submitting your rough draft is the same as dropping out of the bigbang.
Take a look at the rules in the submission rules in the rough draft emails that were sent out (if you haven’t received one, contact us immediately!) and be sure to send in your rough drafts on time! We’re really excited to see what everyone’s been up to!
Please make sure you’re at the minimum word count or above and get everything in place to turn in rough drafts soon! I’m looking forward to seeing what you have done so far!
I know we’ve been kind of a mess trying to sort out artist claims and get everyone in contact, but hopefully we’ve managed to smooth everything out and people have managed to talk to their artist or author to figure things out.
In the meantime - rough drafts are due soon!
We’ll be sending out emails in the next few days detailing what authors need to do to submit their rough drafts. Artists don’t need to worry about a thing - we don’t expect artists to have started anything yet (although if you have, good on you!) and so we definitely don’t expect or need a rough draft from them.
Authors, please read the email carefully and follow the instructions to make this process run as smoothly as possible.
Also - if your email has changed since your original sign up and you haven’t already contacted us to let us know, please do so. That way we can make sure everyone receives the same information without going through any mishaps.
Remember, rough drafts are due January 30th. Once again, keep an eye out for an email from us detailing the submission process and what we’ll expect your rough draft to look like.
It’ll be up sometime tomorrow afternoon! We’d appreciate it if all authors still participating dropped by so we can get an idea of numbers and where everyone is at. I hope everything is going well for you all!
December 31st is the check in date for the second check-in. Please try and drop by to let us know how you’re doing!
Artists who have claimed their fic have been sent their author names - please try and contact them soon! Authors who haven’t yet been claimed have also been sent an email. If you’re an author and your fic hasn’t been claimed, please let us know so we can get in contact with you!
